Delltm Powervaulttm 110t Lto-3 Tape Drive

The device says In Use and won't run any other jobs. There aren't any jobs running and there's no tape in the drive, but it won't clear out. I've turned it off and disconnected it from the server and it still says In Use. Can't run any backups at this point. Help!
