M6300 Toucpad No Appear In Device Mgr For Enable/disable? How Disable? Tp Intefe

All the instructions I find on Interenet for disabling Dell M6300 touchpad say select touchpad, but on my M6300 XP device manager no touchpad appears - only mouses. Maybe I am missing a driver? What driver is required to M6300? I bought this refurb 12/6/2013
