Ups-line Interactions

I would like to know :1. Does the HP-/COMPAQ R6000 conditions power to the protected loads, namely if the nominal input voltage varies by 10% or more, can the UPS condition and provide nominal voltage 3% to the load.2. Is the UPS always active, or it is only activated during loss of power.3. What kind of harmonic distortions will the UPS impress on the supply voltage or currents while It is connected to the source of primary source of power?
