Hi My Brother Innovis Cs 80 80 , Has Problems Bringing Thread Down From The Thre

my brother machine will not thread through the cassete system, despite buying new caseete and checking threading. the machine was not used as the lady involved got illness issues and it was stored carefully. any advice if this is fixable the local sewing machine dealer , repair man wont touch this model.
