Problem Needle Thread Breaks

I have owned my Brother PE- 150V for some time now and have never been able to finish a design without a problem from the needle breaks the thread breaks just a couple of the many problems. I have paid money twice to have the machine checked and shortly after it starts breaking the needle all over. Would love to get rid of it I am so disappointed. I have a husqvarna and a 6 needle so it's not like I am new to this. Please let me know what I can do  I would love to use this for small jobs.  I love my brother sewing machine that is why I bought the embroidery machine. I would love to get through one project without a problem.  Donna
