The E-brake wire is step one, you also need to connect the reversing line to the taillight of the car. Then you need to turn the device to USB mode, by pressing the MODE button the remote until it says USB. Make sure that the USB drive is formatted and only contains files in the following formats: MP3, WMA, MP4, or JPEG. Those are the only formats that are compatible. Additionally, make sure that you do not have the videos that you want to watch in folders, they need to be immediately accessible when you plug in the USB drive.
