Will Not Power On

My netbook will not power up is there any way to test to see if the poroblem is the battery or some other problem

What you can try to do is remove the battery and ac adapter. Next keep pressing the power button a few times to make sure all power is drained. Once you have done this, plug the ac adapter and try power on your netbook.

Should turn on, if your netbook is still not turning on, you may have an issue with the power jack pin that you will need to send the unit in for service to have that part replaced.

Your Asus Eee PC 1001PX does not power on because it is either there is a problem on the battery or power adapter. The only way to fix this is to replace the battery or power adapter. what you need to do is plug in the charger chord and see if it powers up, if it does un plug the charger, if it powers down then its the battery
