When using Windows Media Player 11 first Explore the device, and then select Format. Windows XP (SP1, SP2) - Z5F F/W Version 2.28 (or above). The device will be connected as 'Samsung YP-Z5' see bellow. The filename is Z5Update.dat F/W Upgrade Procedure 1) Connect USB cable. Select Upgrade to initiate firmware upgrade. The following screen will power off the system. 6) Turn ON the unit. This will come up. The system will be started automatically. 7) Check the version information in the Settings > System Info > Version tab. 5) Disconnect the USB cable. After finishing the upgrade, the new firmware will automatically upgrade the firmware.
