Bottom Component (1) Battery bay (2) Vents (4) (3) Battery release latch (4) Memory module compartment (5) Hard drive bay Description Holds the battery. It is normal for the internal fan to cool internal components. Enable airflow to cycle on and off during routine operation. NOTE: The computer fan starts up automatically to cool internal components and prevent overheating.
