Make sure you use a CPU is designed for the AMD Opteron™ processor. The CPU fits in only one correct orientation. Installing the CPU IMPORTANT! 2 2 2 2 1 3 2.5.2 CPU installation The AM2 socket has a different pinout from the 940-pin socket designed for the AM2 socket. Before installing the CPU, remove the two rubbers (A and B) attached to prevent bending the connectors on the socket and damaging the CPU!
