Intertmitent Picture And Volumne Loss.

While viewing TV will freeze up, and volumne goes out, sometime it will recover, but if it doesn't the only way you can regain the picture and sound is to unplug the unit let it sit for a second or two then plug back up and picture and sound is restored. This unit is only a couple of years old. I thought Toshiba quality was much better than this :( ........ HELP !!!!!

there is a good likelihood that the problem is either the signal is weak or the "Main" board is failing.

Check the TV with another input (DVD, VCR, etc) to see if the input isn't the problem.

Also try this: Press and hold the POWER button on the TV control panel for 5 or more seconds to reset the TV.

here's a place you can order the "main" board: http://www.encompassparts.com/item/9169944/Toshiba_Computer/75028881/Pc_Board_Assy,_Main,_461C
