Not See Older Emails

I only see a few emails. I do not see older ones. It says to flick up but nothing loads. Help. I want to see all emails in in box. I delete daily so there is not too large amount.

Open email app, hit left soft button, choose Settings->Account settings->pick your account in question->touch the account again->Sync settings->Period to sync Email
