Cannot Send/receive Call/texts. Airplane Mode Off. Data On. Bill Paid.

Cell is in-service. Mobile data packet is on. It is not in  Airplane mode. Has worked fine until the past 2 days. Was disconnecting phone call after 1 minute. Then within 30 seconds. then 15 seconds.  Now I can dial a number it will ring out 1 time and end the call. If anyone call in, I answer and the call ends. It will not send texts now either.  It acts as if it has no antenna/reception from a tower, which has not been an issue before. Other people in the house have the same phone --- phones are set-up exactly the same... his phone works, my is haunted.  I have taken the battery out and put it back, --- still doesn't work.  Maybe a hard reset? What do you think?  Has anyone else experienced this problem.
