How Do I Clean My Fan? How Do I Know My Fan Is Working? My Tv Keeps Shuting Down

although it's something better done in the shop. with air compressors and meters to check which fan is running too slow, it can be done in the home. Use the vacuum and either suck or blow the dust off with a paint brush to loosen the dust. The fans have three wires and usually the colors are red, yellow and black. The red is the power (+) and black is the ground (-) with the yellow the fan speed sensor voltage. If the voltage is too high on this wire then the set will shut down. If you pt a jumper from the yellow to the black and the set stays on then you have figured out which fan needs to be replaced (use an old staple). once you figure out which fan is bad then submit another question with that info (the DMD fan, the lamp exhaust fan or the cable card fan in the signal section (if your set has one)
