Samsung Hln617w - 61' Rear Projection Tv, Does Not Power Up.......?
The TV has a new lamp because the old one overheated and blew. Now with the new lamp it does'nt power up. When left overnight and then plugged back at in, it tries to power up. It makes a wine or squeal sound but it doesnt power all the way up. Then you have to unplug to shut it down. The red led temp light stays on after the first time it tries to power up. Does anybody know whats wrong?

The lamp is suspect again here i'm afraid particularly if you havent heard any unusual humming noises?
Its very important to obtain a good quality lamp from a reputable dealer as their are a lot of bad lamps being sold I use www.dlplampsource.com get the one complete with housing
