Why Does My Tv Keep Shutting Off?
are there any software updates I need for tv model HLS6187WX/XAA? It keeps shutting off about every 5min and I've already cleaned out the back of the TV so there is no dust. Trying to see if there is anything else I can do before buying new bulbs

Why does my Samsung TV shut off randomly?
Try to update the software.
In some cases, a software update can correct the problem. ... If the TV turns off during the software update, it could damage the TV. Updates can take up to 30 minutes depending on network speed, so if the TV is not turning off too frequently, try updating the software.

The most likely causes for this problem are a faulty power supply or a faulty backlight inverter. You can test the power supply by plugging it into a different outlet, and you can test the backlight inverter by unplugging it from the TV and then plugging it into a different appliance that uses 120V AC. If those tests don't work, you'll need to contact Samsung for assistance.
