Clicking Speakers

We own a Samsung TantumHLM50. We were watching a DVD at half volume when the sound went out. Since then all we've had coming from the speakers is a clicking noise. The noise comes from the left speaker ( left speaker facing the tv). Everything else is working normal and we've had no prior problems. Thankyou so much
