Turning On The Dock Without The Remote Control ?

i do have the remote control but the town I reside within does not carry the kind of battery needed for the remote. My question is how can I turn this speaker on and Bluetooth it ?

Ok so turn this device on you need to press the play/pause button for at least 3 seconds and to turn off same goes.
