What Would I Use Batch Scan For On A Aficio Mp 5000?

The Batch functon is used if you have a large stack of originals to scan into one file. Depending on which document feeder you have, it may only be able to hold 30, 50, or 100 originals at one time, but with the Batch feature, you can scan a stack, then it will wait for you to load more originals and scan them as well, and you can keep loading originals until you are done. You don't have to be constrained by the limit of the document feeder.
