Power Indicator Blinks On And Off...the Receiver Does Not Turn On But The Light

The speaker is not broken, its the receiver. I had this model and it stopped powering up & started flashing a blue light on the power button. I experienced the same problems before it quit powering up. I connected the speakers on another receiver and they worked great. I suggest trying the speakers on another amp if you have access to one, otherwise I say the problem is the vsx-816. I hope this helps you solve your problem.
