Does Not Come On
computer has not been used for years. I plugged it in and turned it on. But it did not come on

It is a possibility that your battery has failed or is so flat that you need to leave it powered without switching on for at least 24 hours to see if the power returns. You can try removing the battery and run it on the power supply only to see if that resolves the problem,
