Inlink Not Working With Lg Blu-ray Player
Greetings.
I have an Insignia 19e720a12 LCD-LED TV and an LG Blu-ray player. I would like to use the TV's remote with the Blu-ray player, but when I try to set up the link, it does not work. I have InLINK switched on and I can see the player's brand and model in the HDMI-CEC Devices list; however, the TV's remote will not control the player. My LG Blu-ray player has its own remote control linking system which LG calls "SimpLink". Is INLink compatible with that system? Should I use SimpLink rather than InLINK (with the player's own remote control) to control my TV and Blu-ray player using the Insignia TV remote? I am currently controlling both my Blu-ray player and TV using a GE universal remote control.
