Deactivating Voicemail

I absolutely detest voicemail. Is there any way please of deactivating the voicemail functionality on my Cisco 7940 telephone?

Exactly how you are to do this will depend on your phone administrator configurations. Please see page 71 of the manual here for more on this. It may be necessary to contact your telephone company.
