Camera Not Connecting To Computer.

I've had the elph 350 for about seven years. Over the past year it has been balky hooking up to the computer. Sometimes hooks up, sometimes times out. I just downloaded and installed the software in a new Windows 11 computer, and the camera will not connect. Times out. My suspicion is firmware, just a guess. I'd like your opinion.Regards,Sherm.

Not requested, but I forgot important info. The step by step connection instructions shown in the camera window, and the instructions themselves, do not agree with the images and instructions in the manual. Major discrepancies.
