Do I place paper face down when sending a fax on my brother 2820 fax machine?

No, you should not place paper face down when sending a fax on your Brother 2820 fax machine. The paper should be placed face up, with the text to be faxed facing the scanner. If you place the paper face down, the text will be backwards and unreadable.
To send a fax on your Brother 2820 fax machine, follow these steps:
Load the paper into the fax machine, with the text to be faxed facing up.
