Power Cord Does Not Stay Connected. Changing Power Cords Does Not Help.

When I plug in the power cord, it often does not connectto the battery, or if it does, the slighest movement of the laptop disconnects it.  I have tried a different power cord and this has not helped.

Hello, If the battery won't charge and the laptop won't turn on but the ac adapter works with other laptops, then the problem is the port where you plugin the ac adapter. Some of the laptops has it built in to the motherboard. So you might need to have it repaired by a technician. Or if the laptop is still in warranty, you might need to send it to the manufacturer to have it repaired or replaced. But if the laptop works without the battery, or it will turn on but the battery indicator is not lighting up, you're facing one of these problems.
1. The battery itself is dead.
2. the battery bay is loose
3. the battery itself is loose
Hope this helps
