Install the battery. Device Basics Installing the Battery 1. G Remove the battery from its packaging. Press and hold located on the top right of the device, making sure the connectors align (see step in the following illustration). G Insert the battery into the battery compartment in the back of the phone to secure the battery (see step in the following illustration). 2.
