2 Open the front cover, and then open the top cover by pressing the blue levers on both sides of the machine. If the paper remains jammed, then pull it toward the back of the fax machine. Top Cover Front Cover 4 Remove the print cartridge and turn the spool to tighten the ribbon. 5 Re-install the cartridge. 6 Close the top cover. 7 Close the front cover. 8 Load the paper. 12 - 4 T R O U B L E S H O O T I N G A N D R O U T I N E M A I N T E N A N C E Blue Lever Top Cover Front Cover 3 Pull the jammed paper gently from the paper feeder toward the front of the top cover.
