Is There A Way To Retrieve A Password To My Vizio Router

There is no way to retrieve the password. Unlike websites, routers have no "forgot password" feature. If you truly need to access the web GUI (web controls and config) for the router, you will have to do a factory reset. BE WARNED!!!! If you factory reset the router you will lose ALL CONFIGURATIONS AND YOUR INTERNET WILL GO DOWN. You will need to call your Internet Service Provider so they can give you the required configuration info and help you set it back up. To do a factory reset, look for a small pinhole on the back or bottom of the device. Push a pin or pencil into there and you should feel some resistance or a button. You need to push it in and hold it until you start to see some of the LEDs blinking differently. then let it go.

If you do the factory reset, the router's password will change to it's default which is usually admin with password blank (nothing entered), or password, or admin. You can also google your router's default password based on the model. good luck.
