Big, White Spots On Screen

Thanks maroo, 'the blobs' I mentioned are transparent, white blobs (about 3" across), not the little pixels.There are two of them and this is not a dirty screen. We had the pixel problem on our last flat screen TV. Will try your suggestion soon though. This TV is 20 month old. Thanx!
