Sound With Hdmi Not Working And Buzzing Sound

When I have either my xbox or chromecast plugged into their HDMI slots, the tv makes a whining sound out of the right speaker, and no other sound is heard. The picture quality is fine, just no sound except for this whining sound from one speaker.
