Can I Download The Firmware For E401i-a2 Visio Tv?

I'm only getting the V screen and I can't do anything else, not even turn it off. I think the firmware might be corrupted and I thought if I could download the firmware update I could upload it to the TV. It does respond when I insert a flashdrive. I just don't have the firmware on the drive.

Here are the things you will need , if there's a firmware update available.

1. A flash drive formatted in FAT32.
2. Your TV`s firmware.
3. The remote

Now to begin this tutorial FA32 is the default format of flash drives but to make its really formatted on FAT32 do this.
1. Connect the USB flash drive to your computer.
2. Click Windows/Start.
3. Open Computer.
4. Right Click on your Flash Drive.
5. On the file system it should say FAT32.
6. If its isn`t FAT32 right click again and click format.
7. Select FAT32 and click format.

Now you need the firmware file.
1. Open this link http://support.vizio.com/
2. Scroll down and look for your TV or use the search and type your TV`s model.
3. Download the firmware update.
4. There will be instructions along with the firmware file, please read carefully.

Now to update your TV`s Firmware.
1. Copy the .img file on your flash drive.
2. Disconnect it on your computer.
3. Connect it to your TV.
4. Power off your TV and unplug it.
5. Now plug it again and press the power button on your remove.
6. The led light will show you a red or blue light.
7. Now if the led on the Vizio logo disappears unplug the TV again.
8. Now switch on the TV and press info, you will see the firmware is now updated. Scan the channels again.
