Unfortunately trunked systems cannot be directly monitored. By their very nature they jump around to time share the frequencies so you will never get entire conversations. The best you can do is enter all the various frequencies involved in the specific system and scan them all. You'll need to check the public frequency lists to identify all the channels being used. There could be anywhere from 3 to 30 depending on the size of the system.
Now, your Bearcat has a TrunkTracker feature (which until now I was unaware was available). To use it you need the talk-group ID's for the channels involved. These will typically be private. You might be able to track them down if you know someone involved in the servicing of the system. When I managed a trunked system for a large oil company I would never have given those IDs out. It compromises the security too much. Still, if you spend some time on Google you could find the info. Also check with the local Ham clubs, they might be able to help.
