My Satellite A665-s6088 Optiarc Dvd Drive Is Not Working?

I am getting an error code 19 saying that the is not functioning properly due to a registry error which may cuased to stop working or damaged it. How do fix this problem and where do I start?

This seems to be related to a hardware related issue. The lens of your Toshiba Satellite A665-S6088 may have failed to function properly. Unfortunately, lens failure cannot be repaired but you can replace the entire CD/DVD ROM driver of your computer. You can buy it online here:
