High Definition Mode

I have enjoyed using the Toshiba DR570KU very much. I recently switched to High Definition and it does not work. Is there a way to set it up for HD or does it not handle HD?

Press [HDMI] to select the HDMI video resolution. The video resolution changes as follows every time [HDMI] is pressed
