many times this is either the "T-Con board" or the LVDS cable connections that supply the signal and power to it from the "Main board". It could be the "main" but since it has audio, turns the set on and off and controls the inverters so the back light is working, then at least 90% of it is working. The "T-Con" comes with a complete panel or is also sold separately. When you have the back off to check the LVDS cable connections (simply remove both ends and reconnect them and wiggle the slightly while watching the screen for whether the picture comes back), you will see the metal shield covering the "T-Con board". Remove this metal shield to confirm the part numbers on the board and compare them to the numbers found on the Shopjimmy.com website: http://www.shopjimmy.com/catalogsearch/result/?q=52RV530U

On the bottom of this page is the two versions used. although this link doesn't have them in stock it's a good cross reference. This place buys working units that have the screen broken and sell the parts cheap. At least they give part numbers where you can find parts elsewhere.
