How To Connect A Sony Vgc Js210j To An Hdtv

According to the user manual available here: http://www.helpowl.com/manuals/sony-vgcjs230j-user-guide-38cc85f.pdf, you will need an HDMI cable to connect to an HDTV.
Now, the manual does not talk about using an external monitor so it may not be a supported configuration. It does talk about using the HDMI port and the S/PDIF ports so I "assume" it should work.
HDMI cables are available at most retailers like Walmart or Radio Shack.

Wow, these guys are experts????? You have to wonder! You CAN infact attach your computer to an hdtv! The ONLY way is to use a USB DVI video card! They sell for around $60 on EB! This will plug right into your usb port! Another really cool feature for using this, is you can have 2 monitors on your desk and have one picture stretched across both. Some monitors have video outputs. So if you can get one, you will have two monitors and your TV hooked up. Honestly, you should sell that computer as fast as you can! Check sony website to see if yours is on the recall list! They had a recall on the hard drive! You may lose all your data! They were discontinued shortly after release oct 2009. New parts are no longer available! My advise, stay away from the all in one computers! You will regret it in the long run! Atleast with a tower, when something goes wrong, that single parts can be easily be replaced! All your parts are soldered to the motherboard. $100's in labor costs. Good luck!
