Is There Any Way Of Getting Sound Output To Head Phones As Well As Speakers?

This maybe a little complicated but ill try to explain. I have a PS3 connected to my sony amp via hdmi and hdmi from amp to tv. Which works fine. I resently purchased to headphones for online gaming for my ps3, the instructions that came with the head phones say you need to either connect the ear piece to a tv or use the adaptor which is a white and red lead that plugs into the phono socket of the audio input on amp. I can do this which gives me the sound but then no picture as need to be on hdmi for picture and sound. Is there any way to get multiple audio outputs or could I buy a adaptor to plug into the headphone socket but have the speakers working too.
