How Do I Adjust The Brightness Of My Sony Bravia Tv, Without Its Remote.

How do I adjust the brightness of my Sony Bravia TV (KDL46VL160) with having the Sony remote that came with the TV. I currently use the remote provided to me by Verizon (Verizon FIOS cable). I can find no brightness adjuster with the Verizon remote.

You should be able to access the settings using the buttons on the TV itself. I believe the Menu or Input button will get you to the Home Settings screen. Then if you press the channel and volume buttons, it will go into the various subsections of that menu.

You'd want to access picture settings. Brightness is found in there & then you could adjust the brightness using the volume + and - buttons, I believe.
