Quilting With Embroidery Designs Futuraxl42
I want to quilter a quilt using different embroidery designs designed for this purpose. I broke three 70/11 embroidery needles by performing tests with a 50wt Egyptian cotton thread (upper and bobin thread). The flock is 80/20 cotton / poly and 100% cotton fabric. The test with the adjustment of the tension at S was adequate: no jumps of points, no breaking of wire and the tension of the points acceptable. Which needle would be the most suitable for quilting with a cotton thread?

Most importantly, it is absolutely necessary that you use only SINGER® branded needles. Other brands can eventually damage the hook and the machine will require servicing. You can use a 2000 or 2020 for natural or woven fabrics and 2001 or 2045 for knits and other synthetics.
