Why Need Reset Date/time Whenever Change Battery?
I am a happy owner of Samsung ST600 for 3+ years. I don't have any problem with it. Only recently, I found that whenever I change battery i.e. took out and replace spare battery, the camera will prompt for date/time reset when turn on. I thought it has an internal button battery that need to replace so I took it to a local camera shop and was told there is no such thing and yet cannot explain why need to reset date/time. Many camera's can be powered using the power adapter, if yours can then carefully remove the depleated battery & replace it while powered by the adapter. This isn't ideal but it is the only way I can think of to avoid having to set region, time & date every battery swap.
