Lt-p326w Will Not Turn On/does Not Seem Related To Capacitors

We have a LT-P326W t.v. that was purchased in 2003 or 2004 and has worked perfectly until I went and pushed the power button on the t.v. one morning, when it would not turn on by pressing the remote power button, and nothing happened. I did not hear any clicks or see any lights.My husband did some research, took the back off of the t.v. and inspected the capacitors and the fuse on the power board, as well as the area where the power supply cord would plug in. He did not find any obvious problems and we are stumped.Are you aware of any typical power supply problems that have been identified with this model of t.v.Do you have any idea what the problem might be? Any help is greatly appreciated:)

Go to this page for a possible solution. The capacitor can be defective with only I slight bulge on the top. I repaired two of my own & it's been caps both times. Any stain or bulge is suffcient enough to make a cap suspect. I also suggest you go here & go through the no power troubleshooting process.
