Power Supply Unit Rebuild?
Looking at the power board picture of the Samsung BN44-00202A Power Supply Unit Rebuild Power we do not locate or see the INVERTER. Where is it? under something we cannot take out?
Our capacitators look ok, and we were told that the inverter might not be working. Do you suggest we buy the whole power board and everything should be ok?

the inverter is a section of the power supply, it's not something that can be taken off or replaced. The power supply section uses the 200 or so parts to develop the power sources that the rest of the TV uses to run. The inverter section uses it's 100 or so parts to develop the high voltage to run the florescent lamps inside the panel so you can see the video. You will see the wires that attach to the inverter section and the other side goes into the panel (two wires each). Stay away from these wires they pack a wallop when they work, over 5,000 volts
