Samsung Ln32b360c5d Problem
Hi, this morning my tv controlller was not opening the tv so i told myself that the batteries were dead, so i press the open button on the tv. Then the sound went to 100 and i changed the batteries but the controller is still not working. When i try to go to the menu with the button on the tv, the selected item is always going down. The red dot on the tv is always flashing when the tv is open. With no controller, i can't return it to the factory settings. Is there something I can do or it's dead??

this is lkely one of the buttons on the function/keyboard stuck or damaged. When a button is being pushed the remote is in-op. Play with all the buttons to see if you can break them free. Or take it to a shop to have this board replaced (or do it yourself).

Hi, My name is Dan Your problem is the function controller board ... the board where the function switches are located on the side of your TV. Part number BN41-00989A.
Most likely the switches are bad. You can confirm this. Just unplug the small cable from the plug then use your remote to turn on your TV. Once your TV is functional you can either leave the plug unplugged or order a new board.
Your TV will operate correctly with the remote control so basically you don't need the controller board as long as your remote is functional.
