Tv Goes Black

i have a HLP5063WX/XAA IT IS ABOUT 6 YEARS OLD THE SCREEN KEEPS GOING BLACK FOR ABOUT 2-3 SECONDS THEN COMES RIGHT BACK ON I DONT LOSE SOUND PICTURE LOOKS FINE THIS HAPPENS EVERY 2-5 MINUTES ANY SUGGESTIONS

change the lamp. this is what they do as the lamp is on it's last leg.
