The beeps on hold cannot be disabled. Unfortunately RCA engineers hardwired the code into the motherboard and there is no way to unprogram it. Sine there are SMB phones they should note this in there manual but they do not.

The "Beep" cannot be disabled, as the sound was hardwired into the motherboard by the brilliant RCA engineers. Complaints to RCA go unheeded, and I understand that some of the new units will also be hardwired the same way. If their are any "More Brilliant" engineers out there....please get back to me to suggest a fix for this problem.
