How Use Phillips Dsr708 Without Satellite Account?
There are many Phillips (and similar) satellite receivers available in thrift stores, etc. I do not have a satellite account. Somebody gave me a DSR708R/17, no remote. I want to "hack" into its hardware to provide an analog video/audio input so i can use its internal DVD to record TV programs from an HD converter. Is there a way or are all those units i see cheap just scrap metal?
