Factory Reset On Panasonic Th37pd25

The menu has no option for factory reset so how can it be done? The tv was built in 2004.

Panasonic does not document a reset procedure. Its only mention in the manual of a reset is a recommendation that you may need to reset the remote's codes after removing its batteries. How to reset the TV to the Factory default settings.

Method 1 - Through the Setup Menu

  • Press [MENU] on the remote.
  • Press [`50; or `60;] to select "Setup" then press [OK].
  • Press [`50; or `60;] to select [System] then press [OK].
  • Press [`50; or `60;] to select [Factory default] then press [OK].
  • Press [`58; or `68;] to select [Yes] then press [OK].
  • It takes a few minutes to reset. While reset is in progress refrain from any activity. Do not turn off or unplug the TV.

Method 2 - By buttons on the TV and Remote. (not available on all models)

  • Television power should be on.
  • Hold [VOL - ] ON TELEVISION & [MENU] ON REMOTE for more than five seconds.
  • To exit - disconnect the AC line
