Windows Media Compatibility With Video

Dowloads pics and videos but I cant play the Windows Media for videos taken. What do I need to do to get my videos playing? thx b

Windows media player will not play any format but wmp. In order to play anything video wise you need to get VLC mediaplayer. It is a free video player that plays any format. As for pictures, they will open with anything.
