Initial Settings After Installing A Freshly Charged Battery.

The battery was exhausted. Removed it, charged and reinstalled. Now, some icon is flasshing in the picture window. I suppose it is asking me to initialize. What do I need to do and how?

If the battery completely drained while the camera was in use, or while it was writing or reading data, it could have initialized the settings. See page 16 of the user manual (which you can download here) to set everything back up.
